A tiger crouched across an entire partition. A giraffe climbing towards the ceiling. A hummingbird stopped mid-flight. Sandrot works at the scale of the room, not the canvas: his animals follow the original mouldings, work around a window, settle into a corner as if they had always been there.

Why “committed”
Each room carries the name of an animal found at the Parc Animalier d’Auvergne, and a good many of those species are endangered. The red panda, Thorold’s deer and the markhor are not decorative motifs: they are species the Park protects and your stay funds.
That is what a committed art hotel means. Art makes visible what conservation makes possible.
