Thorold’s deer comes from the high Tibetan plateaus and is among the rarest species in the Park. Its antlers spread above the bed like a framework of branches.

Thorold’s deer comes from the high Tibetan plateaus, between three and five thousand metres. It is one of the rarest species shown in Europe. The Parc Animalier d’Auvergne is among the handful of parks that keep it.
